Two science-majors, best friends since college, now cooking, baking, and taking over our kitchens one meal and dessert at a time! We’re Sam and Sarah, and welcome to Two Girls Who Cook! We would love to share our recipes, tips, and ideas with you as we blog away and make our mark on the Internet. Feel free to adjust what we make to your liking, after all… It’s your kitchen!
Sarah is a junior high and high school science teacher and part-time college professor. She has a menagerie of “fuzzy, four-legged, feathered children” in her home, including a ferret, a parrot, and a dog. Her better half is a college professor of Japanese language, a writer, and translator. He lives for her chocolate chip cookies.
Samantha is a busy stay-at-home mom to a beautiful 2-year old daughter and wife to a chemistry professor who adores them both. She has a crazy wonderful dog named Riley and adores couponing, purses, and being a creative genius. Her husband loves her cooking and calmly accepts that kitchen chemistry and experimenting are just a natural part of the scientific method with much yummier consequences.
Both girls cook with wine. Occasionally it even makes it into their food!
